Top Carpooling and Ridesharing Apps in Slovakia: Q2 2025 Performance

The second quarter of 2025 saw interesting trends in the carpooling and ridesharing app market in Slovakia. Here’s a look at the performance of the top five apps based on data from Sensor Tower.

Bolt: Request a Ride showed a significant increase in weekly downloads, starting at around 4.8K at the beginning of April and reaching a peak of 8.7K by mid-June. Active users fluctuated, with a notable rise from 152.7K in late March to 222.4K by the end of June.

Uber - Request a ride experienced moderate growth in downloads, starting at 1.6K and ending at 2.2K by late June. The app's active users increased significantly from 6.7K at the start of April to 13.9K by the end of the quarter.

BlaBlaCar: Carpooling and Bus maintained a steady download rate, with figures hovering between 500 and 900 downloads weekly. Active user numbers showed a slight decline, from a peak of 9.6K in late April to 7.1K by the end of June.

Zoberma had a dramatic increase in downloads, particularly in June, rising from 250 to a high of 941 weekly downloads by mid-June.

Lastly, Grab: Taxi Ride, Food Delivery maintained a consistent pattern in downloads, with slight fluctuations around the 200 mark. Active users increased from 6.2K in April to 7.3K by the end of June.
